2K Responds to Russian PlayStation Users Facing Game Access Problems

PlayStation users in Russia have recently reported difficulties accessing certain games published by 2K.

Specifically, players with Russian PSN accounts found themselves unable to launch 2K titles that are not officially sold within the Russian Federation.

This situation led some players to speculate that 2K might be actively targeting users who circumvent sanctions, potentially through account bans.

However, 2K’s customer support has clarified that these issues are likely due to “regional restrictions and peculiarities,” rather than any confirmed deliberate blocking of Russian users.

To help resolve connectivity problems, affected players were advised to consult the ‘Console Connection Troubleshooting’ guide provided by the publisher.
