Access Issues for Ubisoft and Electronic Arts Games Reported in Russia

Russian users have encountered difficulties when attempting to launch certain online games.

Since early April, Russian players have reported issues accessing titles from Ubisoft and Electronic Arts.

Disruptions have been reported with the digital platforms Ubisoft Connect and EA App. Specifically, players trying to launch Battlefield 6 encountered “Error Code 1:85009S” and “Error Code 0:85009S,” which were widely reported.

Discussions within the Battlefield 6 community revealed that while these errors affected many Russian players, similar issues were also observed by users in other regions.

Based on this, users speculated that the outage might have originated on Electronic Arts’ side, especially since some players recently reported restored server connectivity. However, issues with Ubisoft games persist.

Furthermore, complaints regarding Steam’s performance have also surfaced recently, with similar issues noted in several other countries.
