Aspyr Studio, widely recognized for its recent work on remasters of classic Tomb Raider games, has unveiled a brief four-second teaser. The clip strongly hints at forthcoming content related to the beloved franchise.
The teaser visually features the iconic heroine, Lara Croft, submerged and swimming underwater. Beyond this visual cue, the developers have kept further details under wraps, with the promise of a full information reveal slated for March 12, 2026.
At present, there’s no clear indication that this announcement points towards an entirely new game in the series. Speculation suggests the reveal is more likely to pertain to updates or additional downloadable content (DLC) for the existing remasters of the classic titles. This could include new cosmetic items such as outfits or other enhancements.
It’s worth recalling that Aspyr has a successful track record in bringing iconic installments of the Tomb Raider series to modern platforms, effectively reintroducing Lara Croft’s original adventures to a new generation of players.
