Assassin’s Creed Shadows Receives Major Update with PSSR 2.0 Support

Ubisoft has rolled out a significant new update for Assassin’s Creed Shadows, bringing a host of enhancements and fresh features to the game.

As a complimentary gift, all players will now receive the new Bo weapon. This exciting new weapon type will become available through enemy drops, chest discoveries, and purchases from in-game merchants, even without the Claws of Awaji expansion.

PlayStation 5 Pro users will benefit from newly implemented PSSR 2.0 support, which significantly boosts graphics quality and overall performance. This upgrade makes the vibrant Japanese landscapes, from bustling urban centers to tranquil rural settings, appear even more detailed and immersive.

For players on the Nintendo Switch 2, the update introduces support for mouse and keyboard input, enabling more precise character control during gameplay.

Beyond new features, the update addresses numerous reported issues, including problems with fast travel points, enemy status effects, damage calculations, player statistics, and the user interface. Furthermore, the functionality of various in-game perks, abilities, and the effects of both armor and weapons has been refined and improved, promising a more polished and enjoyable gaming experience for all players.
