At the Touch Taiwan 2026 exhibition, Taiwanese display manufacturer AUO once again demonstrated its innovative capabilities by introducing a series of advanced screens designed to redefine the visual experience.
The centerpiece of the presentation was a revolutionary 24-inch Full HD monitor, boasting an unprecedented 800 Hz refresh rate. This achievement marks it as the world’s first display of its kind, establishing a new benchmark for fluid and responsive imaging.
While several competitors, including HKC and Antgamer, have recently announced their efforts to develop panels approaching the 1000 Hz barrier, AUO’s offering is the first to reach 800 Hz. Notably, it maintains the standard 24-inch diagonal and native 1080p resolution preferred for professional esports.
Beyond this flagship model, AUO also unveiled two additional displays featuring versatile dual operating modes. The first is a 32-inch 4K panel with an impressive 360 Hz refresh rate, while the second is a 27-inch 5K screen operating at 180 Hz.

These adaptable solutions are meticulously crafted to cater to a diverse range of users, from gamers seeking intricate visual detail in immersive single-player adventures to those demanding minimal input lag and maximum responsiveness in competitive online battles.
Specific details regarding the pricing and official market release dates for these cutting-edge monitors have not yet been disclosed by the company.
AUO (formerly known as AU Optronics) is recognized as one of the world’s foremost manufacturers of display panels. Although the AUO brand logo infrequently appears directly on retail shelves, the corporation plays a crucial role as a contractor, supplying high-quality display matrices to many leading monitor brands, including ASUS, MSI, Acer, and Dell.
