Bomborа Publishing has commenced work on a new book dedicated to the Warhammer 40,000 universe. This comprehensive volume, authored by Alexander Anokhin – a passionate fan of the franchise and a writer for “Mir Fantastiki” magazine – will offer Russian readers an in-depth exploration of Warhammer 40,000 video game history. The book will cover the period from the early 1990s to the present day, examining how digital adaptations of tabletop mechanics and the rich lore have influenced the series’ development.
Bomborа notes the growing interest in Warhammer 40,000, fueled by the success of its tabletop games, computer projects, and miniatures. The book aims to explain how video games not only preserve the spirit of the original but sometimes even evolve into significant cultural phenomena themselves, akin to the iconic Dawn of War series.

Alexander Anokhin, also known for translating the official Elder Scrolls cookbook, will share his expert insights into the evolution of games within the “Warhammer” universe.
Unfortunately, the publisher has not yet revealed the exact release date or the price of the upcoming book.
