Publisher “Bombora” has announced the cancellation of foreign book releases in Russia for the Cyberpunk 2077 and Dragon Age universes. The reason cited was disagreements with the rights holder over release terms, though relations between the parties remain collaborative for other projects.

In response, Bombora has taken the initiative, ensuring fans won’t be left without content. The publisher is preparing its own book about the Cyberpunk 2077 world, to be penned by renowned Russian author Denis Belonogov, also known as Comrakoff. With over a decade of experience in game industry analysis and deep lore knowledge, Belonogov promises readers an ultimate exploration of the universe.

The book will cover Cyberpunk 2077’s entire journey: from Mike Pondsmith’s tabletop games to a complete chronicle of CD Projekt RED’s hit creation. The author will delve into the development backstage, including changes in game directors, cut content (like wall running), details of the controversial launch, and the game’s triumphant revival with the Phantom Liberty expansion. Special attention will be given to the mysteries of Night City, corporate wars, and the legendary unsolved ff:06:b5 enigma.

Furthermore, Bombora is actively seeking a domestic author to create its own book about the Dragon Age universe.
