Bandai Namco continues its efforts to refine the anime-inspired soulslike game, Code Vein 2.
Code Vein 2 recently received a series of updates, specifically patches 1.0.4 and 1.0.5, significantly enhancing gameplay and making it more accessible to a wider player base. These updates introduce numerous changes designed to ease combat encounters and make the overall game experience more intuitive and dynamic.
A key improvement is the acceleration of character actions: dodging and ability usage are now faster, and the delay between attacks has been reduced.
Conversely, developers have toned down bosses by decreasing their attack frequency and making them easier to stun. This means players can not only land hits faster but also have more opportunities to deal damage, facing less pressure from these formidable foes.
Beyond the combat enhancements, the patches also addressed other facets of the game. Additional resurrection monuments have been placed, character walk and run animations have been refined, and sound effects for specific actions like parrying and back attacks have been improved.
Furthermore, the computational load for certain bosses and dungeons has been reduced. This lowers the strain on the system and eliminates critical frame rate drops in specific scenarios.
More updates are anticipated in the coming weeks, promising continued optimization for Code Vein 2. The next patch is slated to improve enemy and NPC physics, reduce CPU load during enemy spawns, and resolve performance issues encountered when loading new locations.
