The developers of Crimson Desert continue their efforts to enhance the game and address reported issues, recently releasing Update 1.02.00.
With this latest patch, the focus has been on improving player convenience and refining core game systems. A major highlight is the significant expansion of personal storage, which can now be upgraded from 240 to an impressive 1000 slots as players progress through the Graymane camp.
Players now have the option to choose between ‘basic’ and ‘classic’ movement control schemes, allowing them to decide whether sprinting is activated by holding the run button or through repeated presses. Several movement-based skills, such as ‘Abyss Trace’ and ‘Flight,’ have been streamlined for easier use. Stamina consumption has been rebalanced to make character movement more predictable and intuitive, while combat responsiveness after attacks has been significantly improved, resulting in a less ‘clunky’ and more fluid combat experience.
New customization options are also available. Players can now equip their pets with unique armor and helmets, and there’s a new option to hide the character’s helmet display.
On the technical front, the patch brings several enhancements. The AMD FSR SDK has been updated to version 2.2, aiming to improve frame generation quality. Issues related to DLSS have been addressed, specifically resolving excessive video memory consumption when Ray Reconstruction is active. Furthermore, dozens of bugs and other various errors have been fixed.
