Crown of Greed: Fantasy Strategy with Indirect Control Launches on Steam

Crown of Greed, a new fantasy strategy game featuring indirect control reminiscent of the classic Majesty, has recently launched on Steam for PC. This title invites players to immerse themselves in building and expanding their own kingdom within a unique strategic framework.

A core mechanic of the gameplay is its innovative indirect control system, where players cannot issue direct commands to their subjects. Instead, they must influence their actions through various incentives, such as setting bounties for tasks like clearing monster lairs or exploring dangerous ruins. This method demands mastery in motivation, challenging players to guide their inhabitants to achieve objectives without individually controlling each unit.

Players will embark on a journey of kingdom management and extensive exploration across the lands of Rodovia. This richly designed world draws inspiration from European medieval folklore and offers diverse biomes—from dense forests and treacherous swamps to desolate icy wastes and perilous deathlands. During their explorations, players will uncover abandoned ruins, mysterious caves, and ancient cemeteries, where terrifying creatures await, including basilisks, drowned folk, and even the legendary Baba Yaga.
