The crowdfunding campaign for the Cyberpunk Trading Card Game (TCG) has achieved extraordinary success, raising over $15.6 million USD (more than 1.253 billion Russian rubles). This monumental effort has not only made it the largest TCG on Kickstarter but also the most funded tabletop game in crowdfunding history. The project has surpassed previous records held by major titles such as Brandon Sanderson’s Cosmere RPG, Frosthaven, and Kingdom Death: Monster 1.5.

The Cyberpunk TCG’s journey on Kickstarter has been marked by a series of impressive milestones. On March 17, the campaign swiftly met its initial funding goal of $100,000 in a mere five minutes.

The momentum continued with incredible pace. By March 18, developer WeirdCo had accumulated $7,485,445. Just four days later, on March 22, the total soared to $12,179,889. With 15 days still remaining in the campaign, the passionate fanbase, largely comprising enthusiasts of the Cyberpunk 2077 RPG and the “Cyberpunk: Edgerunners” anime series, has propelled the project to an astounding $15,601,577.

In essence, the Cyberpunk TCG has cemented its place not only as the largest trading card game project on Kickstarter but as the highest-funded tabletop game in the entire history of crowdfunding. The substantial influx of funds has enabled WeirdCo to unlock numerous stretch goals, ensuring a wealth of additional bonuses and content for its generous backers.
