Darksiders Warmastered Edition is officially set to launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on May 19. This updated version of the beloved action-adventure game will be available for purchase in both digital and physical formats, priced at $29.99.
It’s important to note that this upcoming release for current-generation consoles brings the existing 2016 remaster to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. The Warmastered Edition originally launched on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Wii U, and this new availability does not introduce significant changes or a new round of remastering for the latest platforms.
In Darksiders Warmastered Edition, players step into the role of War, one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, who stands accused of violating sacred law and instigating a war between Heaven and Hell. Deceived by malevolent forces into believing the world’s end had arrived prematurely, War must clear his name and uncover the truth behind the cataclysmic conflict.
