
Blizzard has unveiled an impressive 5-minute opening cinematic for the upcoming Diablo IV: Lord of Hatred expansion. The premiere of this second major expansion for Diablo IV is set to take place at the end of this month, promising new and dark adventures within the world of Sanctuary.
Diablo IV has been experiencing a significant resurgence in recent months. Following the addition of the Paladin class in late 2025 and a series of successful updates, many players have been drawn back to the game. Now, all attention turns to the next crucial milestone with the imminent arrival of Lord of Hatred.
The newly presented cinematic once again showcases Blizzard’s unparalleled mastery in crafting immersive atmospheres for its most anticipated releases. This time, viewers are plunged into a gripping narrative centered on a path of faith and fire, where Queen Adreona forms a powerful alliance with Akarat, forged in defiance of encroaching darkness.
The Lord of Hatred expansion is officially scheduled for release on April 28, 2026. It will be available across multiple platforms, including PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
