According to a recent report by the analytics firm NewZoo, Battlestate Games’ extraction shooter, Escape from Tarkov, has shown impressive results, becoming the most popular “new” PC game in 2025.
Despite its full version being released last year, analysts included it in the category of fresh releases, highlighting significant interest from gamers.
NewZoo’s research indicated that Escape from Tarkov accounted for approximately 1.7% of all time spent by players on PC.
This allowed the project to significantly surpass major titles like Battlefield 6, which garnered 0.8%, and Arc Raiders, with a 0.6% share. Notably, both these games were released before Tarkov’s full launch.
Such data confirms the consistently high demand for Escape from Tarkov’s unique gameplay.
