Games Workshop is preparing to launch pre-orders for the plastic model of the Falchion super-heavy tank destroyer and a companion 48-page tactical journal dedicated to the Astartes Legions’ super-heavy tanks.

The Warhammer: The Horus Heresy team has confirmed the upcoming release of the Falchion super-heavy tank destroyer in plastic.

While it could be accurately described as a specialized anti-armor vehicle, that would be a considerable understatement. The Falchion’s paramount objective is to punch through the formidable armor of Titans. Should any lesser target stand in its path, it will be swiftly annihilated in mere seconds.

In contrast to the versatile Baneblade tank, which boasts a diverse array of weaponry to engage a wide spectrum of targets, the Falchion channels its entire devastating firepower into a single, massive hull-mounted Neutron Laser Projector.

For close-quarters combat and urban environments, it is also equipped with defensive turrets. However, given the colossal range of its primary weapon – approximately 10 feet (3 meters) in game terms – the Falchion rarely needs to engage enemies up close. Its thick frontal armor is designed to withstand most incoming fire, and its internal systems are engineered for exceptional robustness, matching the machine’s overall resilience.

The comprehensive rules for integrating the Falchion into your forces will be presented in the 48-page tactical journal titled “Mailed Fist: Legiones Astartes Super-Heavy Tanks.”

Pre-orders for both the plastic Falchion tank destroyer and the accompanying tactical journal are anticipated to open in the near future.
