Fallout Season 2 Becomes Prime Video’s Latest Sensation, Attracting 83 Million Viewers

The television series, masterfully adapted from Bethesda’s beloved game franchise, has firmly cemented its position among Amazon’s most pivotal projects.

The second season of the Fallout series garnered an impressive 83 million global viewers within its initial 13 weeks post-premiere. Amazon confirmed this remarkable achievement, noting that the show now stands as the second most popular among all returning series on Prime Video, surpassed only by the second season of “Reacher.”

According to Peter Friedlander, the head of Amazon MGM Studios’ television division, both seasons of Fallout are currently ranked among the platform’s top four most successful releases of all time. The cumulative viewership for the series has now reached an extraordinary 100 million viewers.

A third season of Fallout is already in active development. While filming is tentatively scheduled to commence in the summer of 2026, precise release dates for the upcoming season have not yet been disclosed.
