Filming for Elden Ring Movie Reportedly Kicks Off Next Week

Reports concerning the upcoming film adaptation of the popular game Elden Ring have gained momentum following the emergence of alleged set photos online.

The images showcased various set pieces, including a statue resembling Marika and ruins evocative of locations from the game. Subsequently, journalists, citing their sources, confirmed that production on the film is expected to commence as early as next week.

The project is being developed by A24 and Bandai Namco, with Alex Garland set to direct. It is understood that Garland himself spearheaded the adaptation, having prepared a detailed screenplay and personally presented the idea to Hidetaka Miyazaki, receiving his approval.

While the official cast has not yet been confirmed, potential lead roles are rumored to include Kit Connor, Ben Whishaw, and Cailee Spaeny. An estimated release window for the film also remains undisclosed, as the creators have yet to share further details.
