Concerns are mounting among some players regarding potential technical issues in the final release of Grand Theft Auto VI.
Recently, a new debate ignited within the Grand Theft Auto VI fan community, sparked by the release of two comparison screenshots.
A user identified as GTAVI_Countdown compared a lizard (iguana) model from GTA VI with one from Red Dead Redemption 2, sharing their observation:
Rockstar could have reused the exact same lizard model for GTA VI, and no one would have noticed such a minor detail. Instead, the developers made the model even more detailed and realistic; this is truly next-gen.

However, not all gamers were pleased with Rockstar Games’ approach. Many believe that the focus should be on Grand Theft Auto VI’s technical performance and optimization rather than on the intricate detailing of such minor elements.
Dissatisfied users, such as HeyItsBunty, pointed out that the developers seem “obsessed with a lizard most players will never notice” while failing to guarantee a smooth launch experience (recalling past issues with GTA V).
Furthermore, some opinions suggest that developers should update “outdated gameplay” mechanics, though specific proposals for such an “upgrade” were not provided by the critics.
