Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era is scheduled to become available through the early access program on both Steam and the Microsoft Store starting April 30th.
The initial early access release is set to offer players a substantial amount of content from day one. This includes six distinct factions, each designed with unique traits and playstyles, as well as a preliminary version of the game’s map editor, allowing for creative freedom.
Players will be able to complete a comprehensive tutorial mode and delve into the first act of the captivating story campaign. Subsequent chapters of the campaign are planned for release later, closer to the game’s full launch. Furthermore, a variety of pre-designed scenarios, each featuring its own independent narrative, will be accessible, with more scenarios expected to be added incrementally throughout the early access period.
Several engaging game modes will also be introduced at launch: Classic, One Hero, and Arena. All these modes will support both single-player experiences and robust multiplayer functionality. The online component is designed to include efficient matchmaking, competitive ranked battles, and comprehensive leaderboards for each mode, fostering a vibrant and competitive community.
