Improved Co-op Mod Arrives for Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord

Embark on epic battles and grand campaigns alongside a friend!

The RPG sandbox Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord recently received a significant update to its cooperative mod, now known as ‘Bannerlord Together Live Battles Alpha.’

This enhanced mod allows players to experience the vast world of Calradia together. One player takes on the role of the host, managing the game’s “simulation,” while their friend connects, automatically receives the current save data, and seamlessly joins the same vibrant world.

Through this synchronization, players will appear on the campaign map as distinct, fully-fledged parties. Key elements such as cities, villages, AI armies, diplomatic interactions, and, of course, battles, are all synchronized between both PCs, creating a shared and dynamic experience. The developers confirm that the mod is under active and continuous development.

A major new addition is the support for joint battles. Players can now command their respective armies and directly participate in the same large-scale engagements, adding a new dimension to cooperative gameplay.

The ‘Bannerlord Together Live Battles Alpha’ mod is currently available for Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord.
