Fans of the acclaimed horror-platformer Little Nightmares II have exciting news to anticipate: an enhanced version of the game, titled Little Nightmares II Enhanced Edition, is officially making its way to Nintendo’s upcoming console, the Switch 2. Players can mark their calendars for the release, scheduled for May 29th.

While Little Nightmares II has previously been available on Nintendo platforms, this new iteration for the Switch 2 promises to deliver a significantly superior experience compared to the original version released for the first Switch. Key upgrades include a higher resolution and notably enhanced visual effects, allowing players to immerse themselves in the game’s haunting and intricate world with unprecedented detail.

For context, the original Little Nightmares II first launched on February 11, 2021, gracing PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC (via Steam). An improved version later followed on August 25, 2021, specifically adapted for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC, offering a more polished gaming experience on those platforms. Now, these same advanced enhancements will extend to owners of the new Nintendo Switch 2, ensuring a premium horror adventure on the latest handheld console.
