New Generation of Players: CDPR Explains The Witcher 3’s Addition to Game Pass

With The Witcher 4 on the horizon, many potential players have yet to immerse themselves in the world of The Witcher and experience Geralt’s story.

During a recent discussion with investors, CD Projekt RED addressed the decision to add The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition to the Game Pass catalog.

Michał Nowakowski, co-CEO of CDPR, clarified that this move is intended to introduce a new generation of gamers to The Witcher 3.

The inclusion of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition in the Xbox Game Pass library is a wonderful opportunity to bring more players into our universe. In the 10 years since the game’s release, an entire new generation of players has grown up – many of whom have never personally experienced Geralt’s story.

According to Nowakowski, the game’s presence on Game Pass allows CDPR to “bridge this gap and give new players the chance to discover why The Witcher 3 became such a significant game for so many people.”

Furthermore, this step also helps to build anticipation for The Witcher universe ahead of the launch of the new saga, which includes The Witcher 4 and subsequent titles.
