Nintendo to Intensify Fight Against Leaks Amidst “Absolute Fury”

Nintendo has expressed extreme dissatisfaction regarding recent leaks of confidential information and future plans.

According to Kit Ellis, a former Senior Manager of Advertising for Nintendo of America, the company’s leadership is “absolutely furious” over recent revelations concerning projects slated for 2026 and beyond.

Recently, insider NateTheHate published a purported list of games for the Nintendo Switch 2, which reportedly includes a remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and a new 3D Mario platformer, rumored for a 2027 release.

Ellis emphasized that such leaks can severely undermine carefully planned marketing campaigns, especially in anticipation of major announcements and game launches.

He also noted that while Nintendo has dealt with insiders in the past, the current situation is unprecedented and will likely compel the company to significantly tighten its information security measures.
