Team Ninja has deployed a significant update, version 1.040.030, for Nioh 3. The development team’s primary focus for this patch was refining and polishing the game’s intricate combat system.

A central component of this update is an extensive list of fixes targeting various weapons and combat techniques. Developers have resolved issues where attacks failed to seamlessly chain into combos after dodging. Furthermore, bugs related to improper Ki energy recovery during challenging boss encounters have also been addressed.

Beyond combat enhancements, the patch also introduces several quality-of-life improvements for players. The in-game map interface now boasts improved clarity, and exiting expeditions is significantly faster. Moreover, modern console owners will enjoy smoother cinematic cutscenes, which now run at a consistent 60 frames per second.

Nioh 3 is currently available on PC and PlayStation 5 platforms.
