The beloved meditative slime farming simulator is set to launch on smartphones, bringing its unique charm to a new audience.
Playdigious has officially announced the release of Slime Rancher for iOS and Android devices. This highly anticipated mobile adaptation of Monomi Park’s popular indie game is scheduled to launch on May 26, 2026, and will be available as a premium title for $8.99.
Slime Rancher is a captivating first-person sandbox and farming simulation game where players assume the role of Beatrix LeBeau. She embarks on an adventurous journey to the far-off planet, the Far, Far Range, located thousands of light-years from Earth, with the goal of establishing and developing her own ranch while profiting from raising adorable and whimsical slimes.
Originally released in 2017, the game has achieved significant critical acclaim, garnering over 130,000 reviews on Steam, with an impressive 98% of them being positive. The mobile version is designed to retain all core content from the original, offering three distinct gameplay modes: Adventure, Casual, and Rush. To ensure an optimal experience on portable devices, the user interface has been completely redesigned for intuitive touch controls, and full gamepad support will also be available for players who prefer it.
Pre-registration for Slime Rancher Mobile is now open on both Google Play and the App Store. However, prospective players should be aware that the game will not be available in Russia and will not feature Russian localization at its initial launch. Users in affected regions wishing to experience the mobile version will need to consider these regional restrictions and potential language barriers.
