Raft and Rust See Significant Price Increases on Steam Amidst Regional Pricing Changes

Popular titles on Steam have recently seen their prices updated.

Following Valve’s recent announcement regarding an overhaul of its regional price recommendation system on Steam, players have observed that the publishers of two well-known survival games have revised their pricing strategies.

Axolot Games now sells Raft for 855 rubles, a substantial increase from its previous price of 419 rubles.

Similarly, Facepunch Studios has raised the price of Rust from 1399 rubles to 1699 rubles.

Both publishers implemented these price adjustments in late March. Players widely speculate that these changes are directly related to Valve’s new regional pricing guidelines. This development has also sparked concerns among the community that other “affordable” games (priced under 2000 rubles) might also see price increases in the near future.
