The primary cause for complaint has been the erroneous awarding of achievements. RDR 2 users report that they were suddenly granted various achievements, including those related to 100% game completion, specific mission achievements, or progress within Red Dead Online, even though they had not fulfilled the corresponding conditions.
As of now, there is no official information about these patches on Rockstar Games’ websites. This leads players to speculate that the updates were purely technical in nature, possibly related to the developers’ internal services.
