Within the game’s unsettling narrative, Lisa served as a nurse, entrusted with the care of Alessa Gillespie — a young girl who suffered severe burns during a mysterious occult ritual. Lisa faithfully tended to Alessa for seven long years while she remained confined in the hospital’s dark basement.
Harry, on the other hand, is depicted as a freelance writer and a widower. His wife passed away several years before the events of the game, leaving him to raise their adopted daughter Cheryl alone. The driving force behind his actions is an unwavering parental instinct: Harry is prepared to battle grotesque monsters and overcome his deepest fears, disregarding logic and personal danger, all for the sake of rescuing Cheryl.
