Nightdive Studios has officially announced that SiN: Reloaded, a comprehensive remake of the iconic 1998 first-person shooter, is scheduled for release in 2026. Players will once again assume the role of protagonist John Blade, embarking on a mission to confront the powerful and malevolent SinTek corporation.
The remake was initially unveiled in 2020 with a projected launch in 2021, but its development experienced several postponements. A newly released trailer now confirms its availability across multiple platforms, including PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
SiN: Reloaded aims to faithfully preserve the groundbreaking gameplay mechanics that made the original revolutionary for its era. These features include advanced computer hacking puzzles, intricate branching storylines that react to player choices, a detailed localized body damage system for enemies, the ability to disarm opponents in close-quarters combat, and intense battles against various genetically modified mutants.
While the exact release date remains unspecified beyond the 2026 window, the latest trailer provides an exciting preview, allowing fans to get a sense of the revitalized game’s atmosphere and graphical enhancements.
