“Space XCOM” Menace Receives New Content and Mechanics, Developers Reveal Sales Figures

The developers are steadily enhancing the gameplay of Menace, a tactical game often dubbed “Space XCOM.” A new content update has been released, introducing fresh missions and significant gameplay improvements.

Among the new challenges, players can now undertake missions to eliminate pirate leadership, which includes a formidable captain equipped with unique armor and weaponry. The update also enriches the game world with new 3D models for weapons and interactive environmental elements such as ruins, which can be utilized as cover or strategically destroyed during combat.

Furthermore, combat units have gained a practical new ability: they can now cut their way through barbed wire obstacles, adding another layer of tactical depth to engagements.

In addition to these exciting game updates, the creators of Menace have shared impressive sales figures. Since its early access launch in early February, the tactical title has successfully sold over 250,000 copies, indicating strong player reception.
