Studio Khara has officially released its anniversary short film for the “Evangelion” franchise to the general public. This 15-minute film became available on the studio’s official YouTube channel on March 8th, coinciding with the fifth anniversary of the release of “Evangelion 3.0+1.01: Thrice Upon a Time.”
Originally, from February 21st to 23rd, the short film was shown exclusively at the EVANGELION:30+ event, celebrating the series’ 30th anniversary, and was presented as an exclusive for attendees. However, after unauthorized recordings made by viewers on smartphones began circulating online, Studio Khara, despite attempts to remove the leaks, decided to make the film publicly available.
