This time, Supergirl faces a challenge far more personal than saving the world: rescuing her beloved pet.
DC Studios and Warner Bros. have officially released the full trailer for the anticipated “Supergirl” film, providing a much clearer look at what audiences can expect when it arrives in cinemas.
As previously announced, the superhero movie draws its inspiration from the critically acclaimed “Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow” mini-series by Tom King and Bilkis Evely.
The plot centers on Kara Zor-El, famously known as Supergirl, who must embark on a desperate interstellar journey to save her super-dog Krypto from certain demise. With only three days to find a crucial antidote, her quest will lead her to encounter both formidable new enemies and unexpected allies. Among the notable appearances in the trailer is Jason Momoa, portraying the wild cosmic mercenary, Lobo.
The film is directed by Craig Gillespie, with a screenplay penned by Ana Nogueira. Milly Alcock stars in the titular role of Supergirl.
“Supergirl” is scheduled to premiere on June 26, 2026.
