The Last of Us Season 3 Filming Has Begun — First On-Set Images Leaked

The new season of the critically acclaimed series, based on the video game The Last of Us, is already generating buzz, with early production details and set photos surfacing online.

Filming for the third season of The Last of Us has officially commenced in Vancouver. Videos and photographs from the set are rapidly circulating across social media, offering fans a first look at Kaitlyn Dever in her role as Abby and Kikyana Kratter portraying Lev.

According to these leaked materials, the scenes in production appear to include key moments such as Abby’s initial meeting with Lev and Yara, as well as sequences depicting Abby and Lev navigating through a post-apocalyptic city environment dominated by skyscrapers.

While the third season of The Last of Us is tentatively expected in 2027, an official premiere date has not yet been announced. Furthermore, it remains undecided whether this will serve as the series finale or if the expansive storyline of the second half of The Last of Us Part II will be extended across two separate seasons. With Neil Druckmann’s departure, Craig Mazin stands as the sole showrunner for the project, and the ultimate decision regarding the season’s length and future rests with him.
