Cybersecurity experts recently had to conduct an investigation following alarming reports concerning player data.

Digital Extremes, the developers behind the popular online game Warframe, have issued an official statement addressing a recent cybersecurity incident. They clarified that the alleged “data leak” was fabricated:

“Following our investigation, we can confirm that the recent claims of a hack and data leak are false. This ‘leak’ is rehashed information from an old 2014 breach, misrepresented as new.”
