Homeworld 3 has proven to be a significant disappointment for enthusiasts of space strategy games. Its average rating on Steam hovers around 38% positive reviews, and the project from Blackbird Interactive continues to struggle with persistent technical problems.

Consequently, a portion of the player base is now shifting their expectations towards another strategy title: Falling Frontier. This project had previously garnered considerable attention when its developers unveiled a spectacular battle sequence featuring space destroyers in orbit around Saturn.

Falling Frontier is an RTS that places a strong emphasis not only on its striking visual presentation but also on cultivating a realistic scientific-fiction atmosphere. The developers have meticulously dedicated their efforts to both the core gameplay mechanics and the intricate audio design. The incorporation of authentic military communications between ship crews and fleet commands profoundly enhances the sense of immersion during intense cosmic engagements.

Players have been eagerly awaiting the launch of this project for several years. The precise release date, however, remains unannounced, with the only confirmed detail being its exclusive availability on PC platforms.
