Minecraft fans have long expressed a strong desire to see the popular sandbox game officially available on Steam.
Following a recent major leak of Minecraft’s source code for PC, PlayStation, and various other platforms, some enterprising individuals attempted to capitalize on the situation by uploading an unauthorized version to Valve’s platform.
A project page mysteriously titled “Kogama” briefly appeared on Steam. Players were quick to realize that this was, in fact, the leaked Minecraft Console Edition, rather than an original title.

News of the “Kogama” page on Steam rapidly went viral within the gaming community, drawing widespread attention. Consequently, the unauthorized project was swiftly removed from Valve’s digital storefront.
The individuals listed as developers for this short-lived Steam entry were “Michal Kogama” and “Legacy Edition Team.”
