Remarkably, the Colts` roster collectively gained a total of ten points, with not a single player experiencing a ratings downgrade.
Jonathan Taylor and Quenton Nelson spearheaded these improvements, each seeing their overall ratings (OVR) climb by one point to reach an impressive 94. Additionally, DeForest Buckner achieved a milestone by entering the 90s for the first time this season. Undrafted rookie Johnathan Edwards also made a notable impact, boosting his OVR by three points to a new personal best of 67.
Both Taylor and Nelson are now just one point shy of matching their all-time best historical ratings from previous Madden installments.
Despite the Colts` stellar performance, they weren`t the team to receive the most substantial overall rating improvements this week. That honor went to the Seattle Seahawks, whose roster saw an aggregate gain of twelve points. Key upgrades included Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who surged by two points to also cross the 90 OVR threshold, and Ty Okada, who experienced a remarkable four-point increase, bringing his total season gains to six points.
