WWE 2K25 Arrives on Mobile Exclusively via Netflix

By Ryan Woodrow

WWE 2K25, the newest installment in the popular wrestling game series, is set to debut on mobile devices later this year. This marks a significant milestone, as it`s the first time a main series WWE 2K title will be available on mobile, exclusively for active Netflix subscribers.

While the mobile version will offer a somewhat streamlined experience compared to its PC and console counterparts, newly released gameplay screenshots from 2K suggest a robust and well-optimized port tailored for mobile platforms, promising a solid gaming experience on the go.

These mobile-specific limitations include a condensed roster featuring just over 40 prominent WWE Superstars, encompassing both legends and current champions such as Roman Reigns, CM Punk, Rhea Ripley, and Stone Cold Steve Austin. Initially, only single and tag team matches have been confirmed for gameplay, with no announcements yet regarding additional match types like Street Fights or the iconic Hell in a Cell bouts.

A unique career mode will be integrated into this mobile iteration, allowing players to select a superstar of their choice and engage in a series of matches. Through these matches, players can enhance their chosen character`s stats and ratings, ultimately increasing their in-game power and progression.

An official release date for the mobile port has not yet been disclosed to the public. However, the game is presently undergoing beta testing in select regions, specifically the Philippines and Singapore. This testing phase enables developers to collect valuable data for necessary adjustments and improvements ahead of its expected launch by the close of 2025.
