Directive 8020: Unusual Trailer Puts Focus on Five-Player Co-op

The Dark Pictures Anthology: Directive 8020 emerged as one of the standout projects at March’s Future Games Show. This highly anticipated title has Supermassive Games actively building excitement for its upcoming release. The game is set to launch on May 12, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

While only a few weeks remain until the premiere, and new gameplay demonstrations might have been expected, the developers chose a different path, unveiling an unconventional piece of content. The presented video features several spectacular scenes; however, it is a live-action trailer designed to capture a broad audience’s attention and specifically highlight the game’s five-player cooperative mode.
