Fans of the “Game of Thrones” series will soon be able to return to Westeros with the upcoming tabletop card game, Game of Thrones: Masters of Intrigue, set to launch in June. Players will immerse themselves in the intense rivalries between the formidable Houses of Stark, Lannister, Targaryen, and others, as they scheme and strategize to claim the ultimate title of King or Queen of the Seven Kingdoms.
Resurrection Games has officially opened pre-orders for Game of Thrones: Masters of Intrigue, a trick-taking card game designed for 3 to 5 players and based on the beloved “Game of Thrones” universe. The game is currently available for pre-purchase at $24.95.

In this strategic endeavor, participants embody conspirators and master strategists from across Westeros. Every decision carries significant weight: forging alliances, backing influential powers, or executing a calculated betrayal to seize control. Success hinges on hidden intrigues, shifting allegiances, and precise timing.
Featuring iconic Houses such as Stark, Lannister, and Targaryen, each session vividly recreates the ruthless politics of Westeros, all within an hour. This tabletop experience is perfect for players who crave unexpected twists, audacious plays, and memorable betrayals.

Game of Thrones: Masters of Intrigue unfolds over several rounds, known as chapters. One player assumes the crucial role of the Hand of the King, initiating each chapter by beginning the first intrigue cycle.
The Hand of the King selects and plays a card, setting the stage. Subsequently, other players must decide whether to support the leading House by playing a card of the same House, or to challenge it by playing a card from a different House.

Tricks are awarded based on the number of allied and rebellious cards played during the cycle. The primary objective is to accumulate points throughout each cycle. These intrigue cycles persist until all cards are played from players’ hands, after which total scores are calculated.
The player with the highest total score at the end of the game is declared the victor, earning the prestigious title of King or Queen of the Seven Kingdoms, Andals, Rhoynar, and the First Men. The tabletop game is officially scheduled for release on June 15, 2026.
