AMD is expected to raise processor prices by up to 15%.

The PC components market is once again facing price hikes. Following Intel, AMD also intends to increase the cost of its processors. The price increase, which will affect various CPU models, is expected to be up to 15% and will occur between late March and early April. These timings coincide with Intel's anticipated price increase, which previously reported a possible rise of about 10%.

The main reasons cited for this decision are high demand for AMD's server solutions, leading to a shortage of consumer processors. Additional pressure on pricing comes from the ongoing shortage of dynamic random-access memory (DRAM), which has already driven up the cost of other components in the market.
