Arc Raiders Flashpoint Update: Shredder Robots Go Rogue, Fans Disappointed
Concerns are increasingly surfacing regarding the ongoing support for Arc Raiders.
The developers of Arc Raiders continue to tease the upcoming Flashpoint update. The roadmap previously promised a "new ARC threat," leading players to anticipate the introduction of an entirely new robot type.
However, it seems Embark Studios has a different plan. The developers announced that players will now encounter "Shredder" robots beyond the 'Stella Montis' map, playfully hinting at this with the phrase "Someone forgot to close the Stella Montis doors":
Someone forgot to close the Stella Montis doors on their way out...

This prospect, essentially offering an "old" robot in a "new" context, has failed to impress a significant portion of the player community. Players are calling for full-fledged updates that introduce genuinely new content, believing that merely expanding the presence of existing threats on different maps is insufficient.
The Flashpoint update for Arc Raiders is scheduled for release on March 31, 2026.
