Actor Arnold Schwarzenegger has reportedly commenced intensive training in preparation for filming "King Conan." The 78-year-old actor is working diligently to regain the formidable physical form essential for a role that marked the beginning of his illustrious Hollywood career.

The highly anticipated film is envisioned as a direct continuation of the 1982 classic "Conan the Barbarian." Its narrative is expected to center on an aged hero, many years after his reign, who finds himself unexpectedly drawn back into conflict and compelled to return to battle.

Christopher McQuarrie, renowned for his work directing and writing films in the "Mission: Impossible" series, "Jack Reacher," and "Top Gun: Maverick," is reportedly being considered to helm the project.

Schwarzenegger had also previously indicated receiving offers for a role in a film within the "Predator" franchise, which is currently under development by Dan Trachtenberg, as well as a potential sequel to "Commando." However, specific details and release timelines for these additional projects remain undisclosed.
