Ayaneo Warns of Price Hikes and Production Halts for Portable Consoles
Ayaneo has announced impending price increases for its portable gaming consoles and potential temporary halts in production for several models. This decision comes as a direct consequence of a significant rise in the cost of memory components. The models specifically affected by these changes include Pocket VERT, Pocket S Mini, Pocket DS, Pocket FIT G3 Gen 3, Pocket FIT 8 Elite, and KONKR FIT.
Many of the company's products are slated for price adjustments, and some models may be temporarily removed from production once their current inventory is depleted.
For the Pocket VERT and Pocket S Mini, only a limited number of units remain available. Sales for these models are currently being conducted on a first-come, first-served basis.
The Pocket DS portable console is presently open for pre-orders, though only approximately 200 units are left in the current manufacturing batch. The possibility of future production runs for the Pocket DS after this batch sells out remains uncertain.
Regarding the Pocket FIT G3 Gen 3 and Pocket FIT 8 Elite, these models are planned to be relaunched in phases. This will occur following the successful fulfillment and shipment of all existing orders for the Pocket FIT 8 Elite. Production for the KONKR FIT model will be deliberately limited, with its volume directly tied to the actual number of orders received.
Ayaneo also took the opportunity to remind its gaming community that the special promotion for the Pocket S Mini, which includes a complimentary Pocket AIR Mini, is officially scheduled to conclude on April 1, 2026.
