English revealed a delightful surprise concerning one of Shadowheart's lines. What started as a playful ad-lib by the actress herself ultimately made it into the final version of the game. She recounted how, after delivering Shadowheart's dialogue about Night Orchids, she jokingly added "Just kidding!" along with a gesture of finger guns during the recording session. English confessed she was certain this spontaneous addition would be edited out. To her astonishment and pleasure, Larian Studios found the impromptu moment so charming that they decided to keep it, making it a permanent part of Baldur's Gate 3.
