BioShock Infinite Cosplay: Elizabeth and Booker DeWitt Return to Columbia
While the return of the BioShock series to players remains uncertain, cosplayers Ksenia "KamikoZero" Beknazarova and Evgeny "GraysonFin" Vasiliev have successfully transformed into the iconic characters from the shooter BioShock Infinite — Elizabeth and Booker DeWitt.
Some gamers might be starting to forget the rich BioShock universe, which introduced us to the underwater dystopian city of Rapture and the breathtaking flying city of Columbia.
To refresh those memories, a new collection of striking images has been prepared. During a recent photoshoot, Ksenia "KamikoZero" Beknazarova and Evgeny "GraysonFin" Vasiliev perfectly embodied the roles of Elizabeth and Booker DeWitt from the acclaimed BioShock Infinite.
Elizabeth stands out as one of the most profound and dynamically evolving heroines in video game history. Her character arc progresses from a naive, enthusiastic young woman to a resolute and at times intimidating individual.
She possesses the extraordinary ability to open unique rifts, through which she can traverse alternative realities or transport objects from outside – whether living beings, weapons, ammunition, or machinery. Elizabeth can also utilize these rifts to manipulate time and space.
Booker DeWitt, the protagonist of BioShock Infinite, is a private detective. He is depicted as a silent and serious man, burdened by deep regret over the atrocities and misdeeds committed in his past.
This character often behaves like someone who has nothing left to lose. This trait makes him fearless but also underscores his inner emptiness. He drifts along with the current of circumstances until the crucial need to protect Elizabeth imbues his life with a newfound purpose.
