Brass: Pittsburgh Crowdfunding Campaign Rakes in Over $2.3 Million on Gamefound
Publisher Roxley's crowdfunding campaign for the economic strategy board game "Brass: Pittsburgh" on Gamefound has dramatically exceeded expectations. The initial goal of $500,000 (40,376,895 rubles) was met in an astonishing 43 minutes and 32 seconds. Thanks to an outpouring of generous support from backers, the campaign has already raised over $2,328,867 (188,055,986 rubles), with funding continuing to climb.
Designed for 2-4 players, "Brass: Pittsburgh" transports participants to the late 19th-century United States. Players take on the roles of industrial magnates, tasked with constructing sprawling railway networks, pipelines, steel mills, and oil refineries, extracting valuable resources, and dominating new markets. The game promises unique locomotives and strategic depth.
Several editions are available for purchase: the standard edition for $79, a collector's edition for $125, and a bundle including "Pittsburgh" along with its predecessors "Lancashire" and "Birmingham" for $350. All versions will be available in multiple languages, including English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Chinese, and Polish. Deliveries to pre-order customers are anticipated in March 2027.
For the Russian market, the game will be released by Crowd Games, with pre-orders for the localized version expected to open in April.
