Crimson Desert Update 1.00.03: New Teleport Spots, Personal Storage, and Easier QTEs
The developers continue to actively work on improving various aspects of the game.
The creators of Crimson Desert have released update 1.00.03, which includes numerous fixes for quests, game mechanics, and more.
To facilitate easier traversal across the game world, new Abyss Focus Points for teleportation have been added.
Additionally, a personal storage function has been introduced, allowing players to store items from their inventory.
This personal storage is initially accessible at Hernand's Temporary Haven. Once players acquire their own camp at Wolf Hill, the storage will also be available there.
Other notable changes and improvements include:
- Ore deposits and other gatherable objects are now automatically detected when approaching them.
- The time required to acquire knowledge has been reduced.
- Skills can now be learned by using the 'Observe and Learn' mode just once.
- The number of hits required to chop down trees has been decreased; trees can now be chopped with regular attacks without entering aim mode.
- The difficulty of Quick Time Events (QTEs) has been reduced, both in the arm-wrestling mini-game and in situations where the character is pinned by an enemy (e.g., a mount).
- Items that grant knowledge now display an icon, and their tooltips show the amount of knowledge provided.
- The Abyssal Sky Path Tuning Device now activates instantly upon reaching its activation point.
- It is now easier to locate the Abyssal Sky Path Tuning Device.
- Camera movement while aiming a bow towards a brazier has been improved; consequently, the arrow ignition radius has been adjusted.
- The amount of health restored by cooking ingredients and food has been increased, and new types of dishes have been added to Hernand's Tavern.
- Stamina consumption during climbing has been reduced.
- The difficulty of shooting mini-games and archery competitions has been lowered.
