Cosplayer Elena Zadneprovskaya (ZADNEPROVSKAYA) has unveiled a stunning portrayal of an Abyss Watcher, one of the Lords of Cinder, from the iconic game Dark Souls III. Thanks to the masterful photography of Andrey Trifonov, viewers are once again plunged into the grim atmosphere of the kingdom of Lothric, the primary setting for this action RPG.
During the photoshoot, Elena Zadneprovskaya brought the Abyss Watcher to life with striking accuracy. These warriors are known for their solemn vow to eradicate manifestations of the Abyss and their allegiance to the Soul of Cinder. Initially mighty Lords of Cinder, their power eventually waned over time.
In the game itself, the Abyss Watchers appear as mere shadows of their former glory, their bodies and minds corrupted, much like other inhabitants of Farron Keep. While the true reasons behind their ascension to the throne of the Lords of Cinder remain a mystery, it is speculated that they undertook this action to fulfill their duty: to prolong the Age of Fire and prevent the ultimate spread of the Abyss.
