Denuvo in Sniper Elite: Resistance Cracked After a Year – For Now with Hypervisor Help

Technology enthusiasts consistently find new ways to circumvent digital rights management (DRM) protections.

Recently, hackers successfully bypassed the Denuvo DRM in Sniper Elite: Resistance, a game developed by Rebellion and released over a year ago. Despite Rebellion's implementation of Denuvo for the PC version, this robust anti-tamper technology was ultimately defeated by the increasingly popular "hypervisor" cracking method.

It's important to note, however, that utilizing such cracking techniques often carries a technical drawback: players typically need to disable their PC's native security systems to run these modified versions, which introduces potential security risks for their devices.

Sniper Elite: Resistance currently holds "mostly positive" reviews on Steam. The game is also participating in a special promotion and will be available at a discounted price until March 26th.
